About the Conference
The Michigan Pre-College and Youth Outreach Conference was first held in 2008 at Michigan State University. The 2009 conference took place at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and the 2010 conference at Wayne State University.
This annual, state-wide gathering provides participants the opportunity to engage with professionals working in pre-college programming and university-based youth outreach as well as leaders in youth development, higher education, and K-12 education. Participants will learn more about the role of postsecondary institutions in preparing Michigan's youth for the future.
The theme of the 2011 conference is "A Call to Action: Building a College Going Culture."
